Mindful Mondays was begun in the Fall of 2009 with an idea stemming from the hope of raising awareness of the needs of the hungry in the Chagrin Valley area and beyond. A generous donor has provided funding for a Christmas Day Dinner in the Chagrin Valley for the last two years. It was hoped that Mindful Mondays would expand our area's care for the hungry. The program's official start was March 1, 2010 with 15 area restaurants participating and 8 corporate sponsors. .
